Aspiring beachcombers can take a short trip to the Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach Boardwalk, or head out to Malibu. | | Here at the Hollywood International Hostel, we treat all of our guests like family and this hostel offers a perfect combination of good value, convenience, comfort and hospitality. And our ideal location enables you to plan to visit Hollywood conveniently.
All rooms are clean and spacious, filled with all of the amenities you need. All dorms have only four to six beds (2 or 3 sets of single sized bunk beds). We also have several private rooms ranging in sizes that fit 1 to 4 persons (Double bed room, Twin room, and Triple room).
Our friendly staffs look forward to welcoming you to Hollywood. We will do our utmost to help you enjoy your stay here.
Prices include free same day luggage storage (luggage storage: 7 am-11 pm), free Wi-Fi, free all day tea & coffee, free linen and bedding, free laundry soap, and use of facilities. Facilities include: pool table in our lounge, refrigerator, library, TV room with cable, tours and activities, kitchenette, and laundry (3pm-11pm). You are welcome to arrive as early as you wish, but we cannot promise that your accommodations will be ready before 10:30 a.m. Check out time is 10:00 a.m. | | At check in, guests must present one of the following:
1. a valid passport
2. a Canadian driver's license
3. an out-of-state American driver's license or
4. a student identification.
A deposit $2 (cash only) per person is required at check-in and is refundable upon return of keys.
You must be 18 years of age to check in, if under, you must be accompanied by an adult and have a consent stating your guardians are aware of where you are staying.
***Cancellations or changes must be notified to the hostel at least 72 hours in advance via phone or email. In case of a 'NO SHOW,' a total of one night will be charged. |

We are located right cross the kodak building and right beside disney world theatre (EL Capitan Theatre). | | Transportation | Directions from Los Angeles International Airport:
Option 1: public transportation
Step 1: Catch the Flyaway bus from the lower terminal level at LAX. Its final destination will be Union Station. Look for a green sign that reads "FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans". (Upon arrival at Union Station you will pay $7.00)
Step 2: From Union Station, take the Metro red-line subway ($1.25) towards North Hollywood. Get off at the Hollywood/Highland station. Hollywood Youth hostel is right across the street from Hollywood/Highland metro station.
Option 2: Prime Time or Coast Shuttle van
Follow signs for “Shared Ride Vans” outside the LAX luggage pickup area and take Prime Time or Coast shuttle bus. There should be an attendant wearing a red uniform. Explain to the attendant that you’re going to Hollywood Youth Hostel. Give our address which is 6820 Hollywood Blvd. to driver or attendant.
From Greyhound Hollywood:
Make sure your bus is arriving at the Hollywood Greyhound station - not one of the other Los Angeles stations. Walk south on Cahuenga Blvd., cross to the south side of Hollywood Blvd. And turn right heading west on Hollywood Blvd. You will see Kodak Theater building and Chinese Theater. Hollywood Youth hostel is right across the street from the Kodak Theater.
From Amtrak/Union Station:
Take the red line subway towards North Hollywood to the Hollywood/Highland Station. Coming out of the station, you will see hostel sign cross the street. | | Airport | Los Angeles Airport (LAX). |
