Description - Bed and breakfast

Gorgeous, secluded Apartment in historic Hollywood horse country; private entrance/bath/patio in Shadow Hills (area developed by Hollywood stuntmen, people still ride horses down the street here). 8-min to BUR airport, 15-min to downtown/Hollywood/Noho Metro.
Space for 1-4.
Gourmet breakfast prepared by skilled chef.

Unique, quiet, always cool, studio apartment on Regal Ranch. Rooms have their own private entrance; a large bedroom with a plush, Queen-sized bed; walk in closet; plus a second office/sitting room; a private bathroom with shower; private walled patio/sun deck, stunning views of the mountains, large shaded backyard laced with hammocks to hang out, read, or nap in; horse boarding is available nearby for our clients traveling with stock.

Shadow Hills is a unique and amazing little area well known for being an oasis of cool, country living in the middle of the entertainment industry hub centered around the Walt Disney Studios. A predecessor of Laurel Canyon the area was originally founded by Hollywood stuntmen during the Golden Age of Movie Westerns (and some of those guys are still here, although not jumping off of horses so much anymore), people still ride their steeds up and down the street here, and this shady, hilly enclave is very friendly, safe, and largely populated by people who work in the entertainment industry.
The apartment is big enough -- with the two rooms; bedroom, and den/office -- to comfortably host 2 adults, and 2 children or guests (with a rollaway).
A gourmet, country breakfast is prepared by a skilled cowboy chef, who's also well versed in vegetarian cooking.
Fastest wi-fi in L. A. County, AC/Central heat.

OTHER SPACES FOR RENT ON PROPERTY:
1. THE PALAPA -- We also have a really cool, covered 'palapa' outdoor space, which can be rented with or without hammocks; very private and secluded and blessed with a truly spectacular view, (alternatively, there's enough space to pop a tent up as well, and we've had guests really enjoy that feeling of camping on a mountainside while still having a bathroom).

2. THE BARN -- We have a crash pad inside a fully-insulated, small barn -- and a loft bed that'll sleep 2 -- also available for guests of guests to rent, in a pinch.

3. THE LOWER QUADRANT -- On occasion we have rented out the entire first floor of the property for film shoots, and big groups, (3 bedrooms, 1 & and 1/2 bathrooms, private patio, den, laundry center, 4 entrance doors, foyer/lounge).

We like to leave our guests be, especially because the tranquility of the place is part of the attraction. We're there to welcome you and get you situated, answer any questions/provide directions, troubleshoot any issues, and then get the heck out of the way and feed you in the morning!
We're happy to help making basic arrangements in order to accommodate our guests.
English, Spanish and German spoken.

We love the tranquility of the neighborhood, the fact that once you're here, it's easy to forget about the city; we love the history of Shadow Hills, how it got started, who's still here from the Golden Era, and how stunt and movie industry families tend to pass the torch, and the jobs down to each subsequent generation. We love cowboys, the West, and horses, and we have all of that here. We ask only that our guests act like guests in our home.

Pets may be accommodated, on a case by case basis.

It's a non smoking house (hey it's California, get used to it), so we ask guests who smoke to only smoke outdoors.
