Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Appalachian foothills, you will experience immediate respite from the busy world. Glen Alpine is centrally located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains adjacent to the southeast corner of Pisgah National Forest. The area gives visitors the best of all worlds and the best of all seasons.

From I-40 Take exit 100 and travel 7/10th of a mile and turn right following the signs for the Elementary schools and Glen Alpine. Travel 2 miles to the stop sign (Highway 70 -- "Main Street"). Continue straight through the stop sign and cross over the railroad tracks. You will pass the post office and the fire/police station immediately on your right. Davis street is the first right -- 25 feet past the fire station -- turn right. Graciously awaiting your arrival the beautiful home cannot be missed. The driveway is past the house.

Though the architecture is not opulent, the 12-foot first floor ceilings give the home a feeling of grandeur. The living room, library and dining room floors boast distinctive parquet designs of superior yellow pine inlaid with walnut.
