Built in the 1850's, this backpacking lodge is full of character - high ceilings, oregon wooden floors, old fireplaces. | | The building is three storeys high with the bottom and middle section dedicated to backpackers. Dorms with bunk beds and a private room are available. Kitchen, lounge, balcony, dining room, pub and pool table, pool and braai area. | | 2010 World Cup Bookings. Please note that a minimum duration of 1 week booking will be accepted for the period June and July 2010. Bookings will only be confirmed once full payment has been effected via TT transfer.

Lovely beaches nearby. Addo Elephant National Park is reasonably close by. Lots to see and do. make sure the visit is for a couple of days. | | Directions | From the N2 Highway take the M4 Settlers Way highway (Summerstrand). Follow until the Russel Road turnoff, which you take. Turn left at Rink Street (1st Engen Garage). The road spilts, keep left into Bird Street. Right into Annerley Terrace, Right into Cuyler Crescent. Park at parking lot of ABSA / NMMU Small Business Unit.
