OBZ, Observatory, the colourful, boho student neighbourhood has su much to offer, Jam-packed with quaint bars, vibey restaurants of all sizes, atmospheres and flavours, live music venues, pool bars and so much more; as well as a stones throw from the train line, Obz really is the place to be.
. during the Apartheid years, Observatory was one of the few �colourful� suburbs in Cape Town where all races lived together. It continues to be a somewhat alternative part of our beautiful city, a fact of which our residents are very proud! Obz boasts a variety of funky clothing and trinket stalls, book stores and art shops, as well as a monthly Holistic Fair (!!!) which takes place at the Community centre on the first Sunday of each month. The relaxed atmosphere, the Victorian style house, the constant flow of friendly people found there are an absolute treat. | | Sushi Zone: | A great mixture of Chinese, Korean and Japanese food on offer here � and for pretty reasonable prices! A calm atmosphere, their buffets on Saturday nights are extremely popular, and don�t forget to find out their sushi specials! | | Diva Café: | Great Italian Restaurant for a quick bite in the heart of things | | Obz Café: | A true treasure, this bar/restaurant/deli/theatre caters for a wide variety of sorts, offering jazz and comedy shows weekly | | Panchos: | Round of applause for this little Mexican Restaurant. We require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure a booking. There is no cancellation fee, however, if you should cancel your booking on the day, 50% of the entire stay must be paid. |
