 | The Pension Waldkrieber is run by Family Allen, Bill and Kay and their daughter Victoria, originally from Britain. | | It is a 12 room (27+ bed) Pension, with large car park and is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and forest. | | It is 5 minutes walk from the Presseggersee a well known lake and 20 minutes by free shuttle bus to the popular Nassfeld ski resort. | | The Pension offers comfortable rooms with SAT-TV, balconies and stunning views. We also have a sauna, solarium and gymnasium. There is a TV lounge, breakfast/restaurant lounge with bar for guests. The Pension is set in beautiful grounds with sun terrace and barbeque area ideal for relaxing. |

Hermagor~Presseggersee is a Naturarena and has some of the most beautiful countryside to explore, with high mountains, gorges, valleys and spectacular views. Whether you come for more relaxing walks or hiking or you enjoy a spot of cycling, there is something for everyone. The Pension Waldkrieber offers some fantastic Nordic walking at your leisure, right on the door step, due to the being positioned next to the forest and mountains.
Nearby to the Presseggersee there is the exciting fun park, Erlebnis, ideal for children, with lots of different rides and activities, which allows mum and dad some peace and quiet to relax in the sun. | | Directions | Airports
Klagenfurt airport is 45 min (fly from Stansted).
Slovenian airport in Ljubljana is about 80 kilometres or 1hr 30 mins and our local train station is approx 3 mins away.
Salzburg airport is 2 hrs (fly from Coventry / Manchester / Gatwick / Bournemouth / Doncaster).
Nearly all airlines fly to Salzburg during the winter period.
By car:
From Klagenfurt airport, on the A2, in the direction of Villach. Then the keep following the A2, towards Udine. Take the exit for Hermagor (B111). After about 10 minutes you will come to Saint Paul, and then Saint Stefan, 5 minutes after Saint Stefan continue towards Hermagor. Turn right immediately after the wood pedestrian bride into Schluga camping site, then take the lane immediately on the left. The Waldkrieber is about 1 km on the right.
