Guest Room Amenities

On the second floor of the main house, one of the most romantic rooms in the house, the Gwen MacCallum features a solid mahogany queen sleigh bed, down comforters, pillow top mattress and an oversized claw foot tub for two. A separate glass shower with amazing water pressure eases away any tensions. Fall asleep to the gentle sound of the foghorn and wake up in the morning to a view of the stunning blue Pacific Ocean and the quaint village of Mendocino. This room also has cable TV/DVD and a CD stereo.

On the second floor of the Main House is the Master Bedroom, where Daisy and Alexander slept. This room is loaded with antiques and rich dark wood paneling. The queen mahogany sleigh bed, pillow top mattress, down comforter and supple leather recliner will ensure you unwind completely. The two East-facing windows bring in warm morning sun and allow for you to survey the entire grounds. The bathroom consists of a large tile shower and antique fixtures. Make sure you take a trip over to the Kelly House museum across the street to the room where Daisy was born for more family memorabilia. This room includes a Flat Screen TV with DVD Player, CD Stereo and cable.

Donald MacCallum - Here on the second floor is where Daisy's son Donald slept. Donald was born in 1880 and was Daisy's first child. An inlaid oak queen bed and antique dresser adorn the space. Old growth vertical grain fir paneling from the Mendocino forests give the room its character. It is town lore that Donald's spirit still lives on in this space. Picture windows facing East onto the romantic gardens add to the mystique. The room has a great tiled shower for two. This room includes a Flat Screen TV with DVD Player, CD Stereo and cable.
