Located on the Buda side, close to Castle Hill, where you find the most important historic
sites, like the Buda Castle, the Royal Palace, the National Gallery, the only remains of
Budapest old town, along with museums, cafés, restaurants, etc, Grand Hostel Budapest and
it´s staff are waiting for you with a COOL WELCOME DRINK of your choice. Have a glass
of cool draft beer (or anything else) and a few minute rest in the garden after the long hours
on the road or a long day in the city-jungle.
We are looking forward to meeting you, listening to your story, and ready to explain what

Comfortable doubles for couples, nice singles, triples and colorful dorms for individuals and groups.
Although the bathrooms are shared, but they are HOME-LIKE BATHROOMS for single use, closable, nice and clean, each one in another style.
The BAR-CAFETERIA downstairs in the reception lounge is waiting for you with the best kind of coffee, teas, soft drinks, wines, spirits and COOL BEER ON DRAFT. It is open as long as you wish to enjoy it.
In this hostel you WELCOME TO PARTY and sing-along and feel good, the neighbors don´t complain, we don´t complain, and you don´t bother the quiet ones, having some rest in the rooms upstairs. Sometimes you can enjoy concerts and dj-s in the house.
In the season we make a COOKOUT PARTY EVERY WEDNESDAY, sometimes more often, when we cook TRADITIONAL HUNGARIAN FOOD in the garden on open fire. At least once in your life you must taste something from the famous Hungarian cuisine.
The weakpoint of our hostel is that there is no kitchen where you can cook, but there is a fridge where you can keep your stuff, and we give you plates, knives, forks, etc, and you can also use the fireplace in the garden for barbecues.

BIKES FOR RENT – even for a half a day – for the riders.
FREE INTERNET AND WIRELESS INTERNET access.
Need to do your LAUNDRY? No problem, we do it for you.

- Airport Shuttle: 1 person for 5.000 HUF, 2 people for 6.000 HUF, 3 people for 7.200 HUF, 4 people for 8.000 HUF. You can take it at the airport. This one takes longer time than the taxi.
- Zona Taxi: 5.800 HUF/car, max 4 people. This is the airport´s official taxi company, you can find them right at the exit.
