| St Paul's Bay Is the nicest bay on the island.Certainly the best Base to spend your Holiday. Having all sorts of entertainment( Restaurants, Bars, Casino, Night clubs, and swimming spots.) and sports, and History. Across the bay, stands an island, where it is said that St Paul was shipwrecked. The story goes that he was a prisoner on his way to Rome to be beheaded. The Roman ship met a storm and shipwrecked on this island, and the survivors, had to wait quite some time to have another ship. And in the time he stayed here he converted the Maltese into Christians. St Paul's bay/ Bugibba/ Qawra, is really like one place extended on one side of St Paul's Bay. With all sorts of activities and sports going on all day and night. Above all it is central to the rest of the island, having a bus service to all the parts of the island.
