Check in staff are friendly and keen to show you around the facilities. The dorms are large and have lockers although a CHF20/€20 deposit is required for the key. The bedding was warm and each bed has a small light which is useful. There is no lockout or curfew but the checkin hours are a little restrictive 8am to 1pm and 5pm to 12pm. The dorms have 4 bunk beds but since they overlook an internal courtyard, it's usually quiet at night (with a few week-end exceptions).
	The showers were warm and the bathrooms, like the rest of the hostel were kept very clean. There is a large kitchen with the usual appliances – but one thing to note is that Swiss powerplugs have the usual 2 prongs but a special hexagonal shape prevents all non-Swiss European appliances from being plugged in and used.
