We invite you to turn off the main road and stay with us at our country farmhouse. The Old Mill Inn Bed & Breakfast , built in 1786, is tucked away on five acres of woods and meadows within a short distance of Brandon, one of Vermont's picturesque small towns halfway between Rutland and Middlebury. Our goal is to provide our guests with a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere in Vermont's countryside. The Inn is a classic Vermont farmhouse with four charming guest rooms with private baths .A multi-course, mostly organic breakfast is served in the sunny garden room. | |

The area is surrounded by pastoral beauty and scenic mountain vistas. By car or bicycle it is only minutes to lakes and mountains. Brandon area activities include antiquing, craft shops, several art galleries and the Warren Kimble Museum and gift shop. The Inn is bordered by the Neshobe Golf club rated one of the top 100 courses in New England, open to our guests at special rates.
Cross country skiing and snowshoeing is right outside the front door on the golf course or at cross country ski centers at Middlebury, Blueberry Hill and Mountain Top.
