El Misti Copacabana is located only a few meters away from restaurants and bars, offering easy access to public transport and the beach.
In this hostel you will taste typical Brazilian drinks made by the bartender, courtesy breakfast buffet and even a delicious low cost dinner as the hostel has its own exclusive cook.
In the hostel you will find free Wi-fi access, living-room, shared kitchen and comfortable private rooms and shared dorms equipped with lockers and linen.

This hostel has trilingual receptionists 24 hs a day who will assist you with great tips on tours and cool parties. An awesome programme called El Misti Experience ** with which you will get to know a ¨must see ¨spot in Rio de Janeiro for free with a member of El Misti staff.

El Misti Hostel offers you a free pick up upon your arrival in Rio de Janeiro from the airport to our hostel.

Minimum stay 4 nights and one of these two conditions: 

For bookings of 1 to 3 people: The total booking value must be equal to or higher than R$250. 

For bookings of 4 to 6 people: The total booking value must be equal to or higher than R$500.

In order to get the free transfer, passenger has to reserve with the hostel or our Booking Center (0800 - 020 - 2661 / 21 - 2547 - 2661 / 55 21 - 2246 - 1070) at least, 48 hours in advance. Please note that in case of flight delays or cancellations, it is the passenger's responsibility to inform El Misti about the new time of arrival. In case the passenger has not informed sufficiently in advance to our staff about the delay , El Misti will not be responsible for the transfer charge. The passenger will be held responsible for the total amount of the transfer in.

Schedule:
This free transfer service is offered between 07. 00am to 10. 00pm, with the exception of 25/12, 31/12 and 01/01, days when we DO NOT OFFER pick up. The transfers are done every hour by van. Right to use the service is subject to time and space availability.

The free transfer is not valid for groups. It is offered only for reservations of no more than 6 people.

Cancellation Policy

We require a 50% deposit to confirm and guarantee any reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at the check-in time. In the event of a no-show the hostel charges the full amount of balance on customer's credit card.

CANCELATIONS POLICIES BY DATES:

* Cancellations for groups of 6 or more people must be made with at least a full 30 days notice. In this case, the group may collect 100% of their deposit paid to El Misti (not including deposits made through 3rd party sites). Any cancellations made with insufficient notice will not have any portion of the deposit refunded.

* For New Years Package (27-12-2015 to 4-1-2016) can only be made before Nov. 30 and are 100% refundable. After that date will not have deposits refunded.

* For the Summer Season 2016 (05-01-2016 to 01–02-2016) (14-02-2016 to 22/03/2016) can only be made 15 days before check in date, 100% refundable. After that date will not be refunded deposits.

* For the Carnaval 2016 Package (02-02-2016 to 13-02-2016) can only be made 15 days before check in date, 100% reimbursable. After that date will not have deposits refunded.

* For the Holy Week 2016 Package (23-03-2016 to 28-03-2016) can only be made 15 days before check in date, 100% reimbursable. After that date will not have deposits refunded.

* For Olympic Games Packages (27-07-2016 to 28-08-2016) it is necessary to pay 50% of the value of the reservation, at the time booking is submitted. Cancellations will only be processed 30 days prior check-in date. After that date, no reimbursement will be made. In the event of a no-show the hostel charges the full amount of balance. For cancellation requests which fall within the stipulated time will be charged an administrative fee of 12.5% of the total amount.

* For any other dates not included above have to be made 72hs before check-in, otherwise no reimbursement is performed.
