Poas Lodge

Poás Lodge is perched near the summit of Poás Volcano, just minutes from the crater, the lodge commands a spectacular view of the central valley reaching as far as the Nicoya peninsula.

Poás Lodge offers individually decorated rooms with breath taking views. The room amenities include free wi-fi, satellite television, coffee maker and low-energy heaters. Children over 7 are welcomed.

Check-in is from 15:00-20:00. If you require check-in after 20:00 you must notify the lodge prior to booking to confirm. Failure to do so can lead to no access to the lodge.

The onsite restaurant serves breakfast and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the coffee covered slopes of Poás, Barva and Irazu volcanoes. The menu includes typical Costa Rican dishes and international fare. The bar offers local and imported beers, South American wines and a selection of cocktails.

Poás Lodge is perfectly situated for exploring the area with Poás Volcano National Park a 4 minute drive and La Paz Waterfall Gardens ten miles away.
