Meet Hostival –the world’s first traveling festival hostel, a one-of-a-kind nomadic hostel that follows its clientele around the world to the biggest and most famous festivals.

For nearly a decade Hostival has been providing affordable, budget accommodation at the biggest and wildest annual festivals which means we understand exactly what the guests what, where they want it and most importantly, when they want it both during the time of the festival and after hours!

There is no place more necessary to nurse a hangover than at Oktoberfest, and this is how the Hangover Hospital was born – our guests needed a safe place to nurse those hangovers in order to be ready to party all over again!

Getting into the Oktoberfest spirit is easy when, in the Hangover Hospital campsite village; you can roll out of bed, slip into your hired or purchased Dirndl or Lederhosen, get some food and then easily move onto the Oktoberfest beer tents with all the new friends you have made at the Hangover Hospital!

We have ensured that the world’s first nomadic, globe-trotting hostel is never more than 20 minutes away from the action at Oktoberfest.

The party at Hangover Hospital never stops and because we are situated in Kultfabrik, a nightclub district, once you are done at Oktoberfest for the night you can join us on pub crawls, club nights, concerts and plenty of other fun activities just around the corner.

You will need to bring warm clothes, your sense of adventure and be open to making new friends!

The Hangover Hospital is a fun, hospital themed campsite village. Within its tent dorms there are beds for around 500 guests per night. We will offer 2 different types of accommodation to help provide more options for budget travelers. For now we have 12 bed tent dorms . We are always working to improve.

And Introducing our 3 bed dorms that are in modular sleeping containers. Exciting and a good form of temporary accommodation. This is a good option If you feel like a room a little more personal. This room is ideal if you are traveling alone and want some space or if you and your partner would like a little more space.

Located 20 minutes away by train, in the Kultfabrik district ;a club district with many clubs , food stalls and a good restaurant. Durig the Oktoberfest period there will usually be 1 or 2 big acts performing. It a relatively inexpensive night out which is great after a day in the tents.

Getting to The Hangover Hospital

From the central station (Hauptbahnhof) and bus stations take any S-Bahn (express trains) heading east and get off 5 stations later to Ostahnhof (10 minutes) there are trains every 2 minutes.

From the airport take an S8 train to Ostbahnhof (20 mins)

From Oktoberfest grounds take a U5 train and get off 5 stations later (10 minutes) at Thereisenweisen.

From the Ostbahnhof station to get to Kultfabrik (host club district where the Hangover Hospital is based) please take the Friedenstrasse exit.
Once on street level turn right and pass the Burger King. Turn first left onto Grafingerstrasse and turn right into the Kultfabrik grand entrance (lighthouse!!!).
From the entrance keep left and follow signs till you get to our entrance nurses!
