Description - Apartment

Elegant apartment of 120 square meters consisting of two triple rooms and one double bedroom, two bathrooms, living room and kitchenette, finely decorated with furniture of quality that makes the environment very welcoming. the apartment can accomodate 8 persons.

The bathrooms, simple but functional, have a shower, bidet and toilet and the kitchen is fully equipped with microwave oven, sink, refrigerator, and 4 gas burners. You'll find available cookware, cutlery, plates, glasses and everything you need to be able to cook. The rooms are very bright with a view of the Aurelian walls, particularly the double bedroom has a lovely balcony.

The apartment is located on the first floor of an historic building recently restored. Connections are excellent, Subway over the 800m distance, the bus stop is right in front of the gate, with only number 71 bus you’ll arrive in a few stops in the immediate vicinity of Piazza di Spagna.

The central station Termini is only 10 minutes walking and on the main street there are important services for a stay in complete freedom as pharmacies, supermarkets and pizzerias many restaurants some of them famous for the typical roman cooking. Because of its proximity to the university La Sapienza, in the district meet the spirit and culture of academia with the simplicity and richness of human and social values of the local people.

San Lorenzo is in fact considered the university district of Rome. Indeed, close to its territory is the University of Rome "La Sapienza", which, with its 148, 000 subscribers [3], is the largest university in Europe. The massive influx of students has led to a significant increase in the nightlife in the area with the opening of restaurants, pizzerias, pubs and clubs.
Basilica of San Lorenzo outside the walls, in Piazzale del Verano - Church of the fourth century and the Patriarchal Basilica. The parish was established on 4 July 1709 by Decree of the Cardinal Vicar of Gaspare Carpegna "De cuiuslibet statuta." Results from two churches of different eras and the subsequent massive restructuring ordered by Pope Honorius III in the thirteenth century. The original church was built in the fourth century by Constantine the tomb of the martyr Lorenzo, a victim of persecution of Valerian in 258. Also houses the remains of St. Stephen, first Christian martyr.
Church of St. Mary Immaculate, was completed in 1909, in neo Lombard Romanesque style, with facades of brick and curtain arches as external decoration. Its bell tower was built later (1929) by Charles Strocchi in imitation of the bell tower of San Marco in Venice. In honor of the Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception on the anniversary every year, on 8 December, held a party deeply felt by the inhabitants of the historic district.
Porta Tiburtina, originally built by the monumental arch Augusto in 5 BC to permit the passage above the road of the three aqueducts dell'Aqua Marcia, and Iulia Tepula from Porta Praenestina (Porta Maggiore). The arch, which was inserted into the walls built by the Aureliano starting in 271 BC, is travertine pillars Tuscania and has the keys to be ornate bucrani (decorative trim in the shape of a skull of ox).

Booking and cancellation policy

Unless otherwise specified, booking payments are non-refundable.

In case of cancellation from 60 to 15 days prior to arrival, deposits will be forfeited. 50% of the total amount is due for all cancellations made with less than 15 days’ notice. In case of no-show, 80% of the total amount must be paid.

How to get there

From the airport
Is well connected to both Roman airports by car: Ciampino (about 30 minutes) and Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" (about 1 hour).
The Leonardo Express train departing from Fiumicino Airport or Sitbus Shuttles from Ciampino both offer service to Termini train station (about 30-45 minutes from both airports).
Once at Termini, you can take a taxi (5 minutes) or walk as the apartment is very close.
