Vanilla House

Vanilla House, our shabby- chic Guest House is nestled under large red acacia trees in Black River, Mauritius. It is in the heart of the island's most exotic region.

Our 9 double bedrooms measure 45 m2 each with a kitchenette, en-suite bathroom, separate toilets and a veranda. Each room is equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and all necessary cuttlery. The rooms are both air condi­tioned and have a ceiling fan, Tv with satellite channels. The wifi zone is available in the lounge and in the restaurant area «Vanilla Cafe»

Vanilla House is situated at 50 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes from Port Louis (Capital city) and 40 minutes from Curepipe (Shopping). In our surroundings there is a bank, the post office, a petrol station, supermarkets, chemists and doctors, shops, as well known restaurants. The restaurant Vanilla Bean is open from 8 a. m to 4p. m on week days. Breakfast is served from 8a. m to 11a. m. And on Sundays and public holidays continental breakfast is served on room terraces. Our clients may have lunch at the restaurant and order their dinners from the restaurant.
Our guests may also beneficiate of a living area composed of a swiming pool and a BBQ.

At +/- 5 mins from the guest house, you will find the Black River Gorges, Tamarin Bay surf spot, the Martello Tower & its beach, exotic mountains, fishermen villages of Black River and Chamarel and Le Morne kitesurf spot.
