A refreshing and wholesome experience the entire family will enjoy! Arrive at our drive-in camp at 4:00PM via your own transportation.

Horseback Riding...
First we saddle up our gentle, sure-footed horses and head out on an easy one to two hour ride into the Bridger-Teton Wilderness Area. RIDING IS NOT MANDATORY!

Western Cookout...
Then settle in around the fire under a canopy of lodge pole pines. Relax while we prepare a real western cook-out.
As the sun sets and the stars come out, enjoy a cozy fire lit evening.

Overnight Accommodations...
Retire to your private lantern lit wall tent.
Sleep on comfortable bunks with mattresses, sleeping bags and pillows.
If you rise early, you may spot a deer or moose right around camp.
A country style breakfast is served between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM in the large cook tent warmed by a wood stove on frosty mornings.

Our camp sits three miles south of Yellowstone Park in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Sleep in spacious wall tents equipped with wood stoves and comfortable bunks with mattresses. Hearty meals prepared by our experienced camp cook are served in the large cook tent.

How to get there

Jackson Wyoming to Wilderness Trails Base Camp
Drive 30 miles North on US highway 89 to Moran Jct.
Turn left (northwest) toward Yellowstone National Park.
Drive 25 miles North on US 89 through Grand Teton National Park, into the John D. Rockefeller Memorial Parkway.
Continue North for 5 miles on US 89 to the Sheffield Creek Road.
Look for a sign on right side (east) of the highway that says Teton National Forest Sheffield Creek (Dirt road 100 yards south of bridge over the Snake River. If you get to Flagg Ranch, you have gone too far by about 1 mile.)
Turn right (east) and drive 1/2 mile east on Sheffield Creek Road to Wilderness Trails Camp & Corral.
