And when it does, we will all enjoy seeing the world again. And sometimes, just the beauty of one of our fantastic travel destinations can inspire wonder and desire for our future of traveling the world.

As we all share in this crisis, we all share the desire and motivation to get out again and explore the world as soon as it’s over. We’ll keep dreaming and planning for that day. In the meantime, we can remain positive, and perhaps constructively prepare for the future.

Here are some tips: How about brushing up on a second language? Read up on some regional cuisine that you may wish to sample, or try out a regional recipe for yourself in the kitchen. Make a list of some invaluable travel tips from magazines, books, and websites that will make your first trip more gratifying. Finally, think about acquiring a new carry-on bag or backpack that will suit your future travel style perfectly. In the meantime, please stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Deadliest Beaches

That’s right, DEADLIEST Beaches. I know that writing posts about “the most beautiful beaches to visit” is probably more of what is expected, but read along, even the deadliest beaches can be a thing of beauty. All depends on how its perceived. When you hear the word beach, you automatically see images of fine white sand, crystal clear blue waters, and the sun shining on a cloudless day. After all, a trip to the beach is meant for relaxing, rejuvenating, and chasing your cares away, right? For instance, there’s a sign at Wright’s Beach, at the southern terminus of the Kortum Trail, warning that this is one of California’s deadliest beaches. All of Sonoma County’s beaches are dangerous, but to first set eyes on, they can be very deceiving. Since the 1930s, 126 drownings have occurred at Wright’s Beach alone. On the upside, beaches can and are meant to be beautiful. But for some, just don’t go into the water.

Here are a few of the most dangerous beaches that could lead you into a false sense of security.

  • Kilauea – Hawaii. …
  • Playa Zipolite – Mexico. …
  • Fraser Island – Australia. …
  • Gansbaai – South Africa. …
  • Volusia County – Florida. …
  • Chowpatty Beach – India. …
  • Bikini Atoll – US Marshall Islands. …
  • Schitovaya Bukhta – Russia

But let this article shed a bit of light upon Beaches and the fear that everyone who seeks out the Ocean for fun should have a bit of. These are the beaches you shouldn’t go to if the water is what you seek on your vacations. Take heed!

A Not Miss Spot Ecuador, South America

Ecuador is absolutely one of the most beautiful countries in the world we live in. It is set on the equator, and it is home to breathtakingly beautiful snow-covered volcano’s, luxuriant jungles and best of all, most friendly, welcoming people. Its also a very special place to spend some time trekking thru the lush, steamy Jungles. Being on the equator, it can be visited all year round but its many different micro-climates mean that you’ll need careful advice from destination experts. Many of the residents of Ecuador, who are professional Tour Guides, can answer questions on history, geography, tourism, culture and business climate, visas, transportation, Galapagos cruises and tours, accommodation, Indian markets, cultural tours, amazon expedition and lodges, adventure tours, best time to travel to Ecuador, tourist attractions, worth to see places and offer tips so you can enjoy your time there and not miss anything! You will be able see first hand just like it is in the eyes of 1st world citizen! Dont miss out on visiting on whats called “The Most Beautiful City In South America!”

Visit Charming European Villages

When traveling the world, I usually find Travel Books to read up on, search online for places to visit, even find episodes of Rick Steves in order to find places that are not typical to travelers. The “Hot Spots” / “Landmarks” are something to visit for sure, like The Colosseum in #Rome, Buckingham Palace in #London, Central Park in #NYC, ect but I’m also a fan of small hidden Villages. One amazing city that I traveled to in 2015 was Dublin, #Ireland and while there I found a few hidden jems as well. Westport, Strandhill, (Which is known for surfing) and Enniskerry, which has the beautiful Powerscourt Waterfall, which is said to be the highest waterfall in Ireland, just to point out a few. In my search, I recently came alone this article pointing out a handful of beautiful, charming European Villages that I’m putting on my list for 2017. Take a look, you’ll probably be drawn in as well!

An American Road Trip to New England

The four of us, piling into our SUV, craving the magic of Fall and the beauty of #Autumn colors, agreed that New England was the place to go. It was a 6 hour ride for us, but as friends for many (many) many years ; ) we knew it would be a blast no matter what. According to all sources, it was “PEAK” time to head up there, which was mid October, and did we ever time it right. I have headed out in the past where we hoped for the same, but was disappointed. Not this time. We chose to make our first stop in Burlington, VT before heading to #Stowe. Burlington is a beautiful town, located 45 miles south of the #Canada–United States border and 94 miles south of #Montreal. Its the perfect blend of old New England charm, arts, culture and nature. During our time there it was bustling with “leaf peepers” who come to view the vibrant autumn colors as well. Its no secret and every year the attraction to VT doesn’t disappoint at all. (Its our 4th year in a row.) We had fun walking along the 4 block, brick tiled, smoke free environment. We came across the spectacular waterfront of Lake Champlain and grabbed a picnic table and had lunch, and a few cold beers! The second day we were in the quaint little village of Stowe. Being avid skiers, were here mostly in the winter, where it truly transforms into a Winter wonderland. But in October, its still a wonderful, picturesque town to hike and take in Mother Natures beauty. We walked for hours and came across one of the most beautiful Waterfalls I have ever seen, Honey Hollow Falls. What I loved about this particular Falls is that its not well known and we practically had the Falls to ourselves. Not very crowded at all. We also had a treat at the Stowe #Theater Guild. They really did a great job. It was a Perfect night out to complement our day in Stowe. As we enter into the Holiday Season of 2016, and prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving/Christmas with our loved ones, in the back of my mind I’m already thinking about next Fall, 2017, mainly because its my favorite time of year, and am sooo looking forward to my next Fall #adventure with my “crew”. Hopefully I gave you all a few ideas. I love hearing from other Travelers as well on personal notes along with their experiences. Its more personal & insightful with small hidden treasures! Love and Peace to all!

Travel Tips For Your Pets

We ALL love our Pets, they’re considered our “Best Friends / Family”. And just like traveling with a small child, it can be a wonderful and bonding experience or a not so pleasant one. Its all in the planning! One great tip I got from my neighbor was, if you’re planning on a long drive for instance, before you actually take that Road Trip, is to take a trial run to see how your pet responds. Does he get car sick? Anxious? Its a really good idea to find this out first, believe me! Not all pets are good with traveling. Could be because of age or they’re just too excited. Below you can read up more about traveling with your pet and  the article also offers the tips to help you prepare for a safe and smooth trip, as well as the steps you can take to make traveling a pleasant experience, for both you & your pet!

Beautiful Waterfalls

Growing up on the East Coast (Long Island, NY), I long for the Weekend Getaways with my parents to “Upstate” NY. We had picnics along the Delaware Water gap, sang songs, visited my parents friends, ect. I treasured those weekends and passed along the tradition with my own children. When my 3 boys were 12, 7 & 6 (today 30, 26 & 25) we took a road trip, one of many, to Niagara Falls, and to this day we still talk about “The Falls” Ithaca Falls was one of the most recent. I didnt even know it was in existence, until I visited a friend who lived in Ithaca a few years back & went on a hike. There’s just a magical/mysterious beauty that, I find at least, in stumbling along Waterfalls. So when I cane across this Article, not only was I anxious to read it, Id like to share it with others. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Explore New England This Fall

We LOVE Fall in New England. Besides Apple picking & hiking the colorful trails, the best way to take in the beautiful landscape and make the most of the autumn colors is to seek out an overlooked vista, a hidden gem, or a new adventure! You can start in Northern part of Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine and follow peak foliage south over the course of a week or two. Midweek is the time to hop between towns. For a vintage and very scenic travel experience, hop on a New England railroad car and cruise along the countryside. TIP: Do consider making your reservation as much as two months in advance, (which means now!) especially if you’ve got your eye on a particular room at a particular property.
