Comments (English): After a long flight from Amsterdam-KLM " lost" my luggage to boot- I was relieved to see the hotel chauffeur holding my name sign at the exit of the airport. A short time later, I checked into one of the neatest and cleanest hotels I have seen in Africa so far. The African Royal Beach Hotel is located right on the beach of Nshonaa/Nungua,about 15 km from the city center of Accra. An Oasis of peace and tranquility in an otherwise noisy and busy town, I enjoyed every minute of my stay there. From the cold beer of the bar to the excellent food from the restaurant, everything was as close to perfection as it could get. My AC failed the second night and I was given a new room within 10 Minutes. After a hard day of work, the pool was just what I needed to relax and decompress a bit.
Very recommendable and definitely a bargain
Negative was only the horrible pollution-which one cannot seem to escape anywhere in Accra.
