Comments (English): Caseron Porteno is the ideal place for anyone traveling alone for the first time to this marvelous city. Its garden it's a kind of oasis in the midle of the city. The staff, the breakfast, the tango lessons, everything makes you feel at home. I totally recommend it!

Comments (English): When I arrived in Buenos Aires I knew no one, by my first evening I was dining with three new friends who I met at Caseron Porteno. I had a wonderful experience staying at Caseron Porteno. I was initially hesitate as I was traveling alone. The only room that was available had a bathroom in the hall and there was no a/c. All of this was not a problem. There was a robe to walk the four steps to the private bath and toilet. The room had a fan that worked efficiently and the room was large and comfortable. The best part of the stay was that everyone was so helpful from the warm staff, to the tango teachers and the fellow guests. I loved the introduction to tango and from that early experience I continued to learn the dance. The first night I was there I met several women from NYC who invited me to join them for dinner that evening. They explained the tango scene and I was invited to join them for dinners and lessons for the rest of my four day stay. Every evening I took tango lessons from the different instructors at Caseron Porteno. This was a great way to start an evening as the lessons were over around 8:30 and you can not go to a restaurant in BsAs before 9:00. The B&B is close to a subway that is easy to use and safe and taxis are plentiful and cheap. I highly recommend staying there. By the way the women I met there have become friends since I arrived home.
