Comments (English): This hostel is a wonderful place to stay while in Buenos Aires!! I lived there for about 3 months in summer '08/09 and I loved it. It has a very special atmosphere, laid-back and relaxed and everyone is always very helpful if you have problems how to get from A to B (and desperately tried to use the Guia-T on your own...). Staff usually speaks Spanish and English and there is a 24hr reception. I met a lot of very interesting people from all over the world and everyone connected very well. Travellers were usually young or backpackers "older" travellers were always warmly welcomed. There are 2 cats and a dog which I loved and well...the whole hostel has a family atmosphere. Dorms are nicely arranged with an upper "loft" of two beds and 4 beds underneath. the hostel itself is located in the central barrio Montserrat and you have some nice restaurants just around the block and bars some blocks away. you reach everything easily by bus or subte or walking. If you stay there, ask for an asado which is the best in buenos aires! The owner is always happy to make one, invite friends and introduce you to argentine culture =)
