As we arrived at the youth hostel, they told us that they made an error for our reservation. They thought we started our reservation the next day, but as I had a written copy of the reservation on me, they had to confess they were wrong. Unfortunately, the hostel was full, and as it already was late in the night, they sent us to another hostel (that in fact was an hotel) and we had to spend the night there for USD 75.00!!!
In order not to pay such an expensive price for the second night we spent in Miami, we needed to come back to this hostel for the second night. The dorm was nice. Notice that if you go there, you need to be in couple or you won't know with who you will sleep... because they provide double-beds (instead of twin-beds).

We ended up staying 3 weeks at this hostel and it was great. One of us was quite sick when we arrived and the staff did everything they could to help us out. Holly and Mama especially, but all the staff were amazing. The hostel is doing things to keep improving, like offering some meals and installing lockers. Be a litlle aware of things that could be seen as rubbish going missing from your room during the day though. Easily solved, dont leave belongings on the ground! Really social place with reguilar free movies, snacks, meals and drinks. Kitchen could be more equipped and hot plates/microwave could be hotter but its adequate. Thanks again for a cool 3 weeks.
