| Comments (English): I am currently writing this from my room in Tenerife, where I am on holiday with my friend. Having read a few reviews before we got here, I was a little apprehensive, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We read some reviews about windows not locking, and no air conditioning, but luckily our windows locked fine and the manager had bought fans for all the rooms the day before we arrived. We have an ensuite, a double bed, a tv (with a few english channels) and a fridge in our room. There is a communal kitchen, but this is only a sink, a kettle, a coffee machine and a microwave. The location is good, we are less than 5 minutes away from the beach, and about 15 minutes away from the main clubbing area. There are supermarkets and restaurants around everywhere. Most of the restaurants are just Steak House/Pizzerias, but we just asked around at a few places and quickly managed to find somewhere that served tapas. The hostel is quite difficult to find if you don't know where you're going, but it is just up the stairs to the right of the Ibrox bar, and it is the first door on the left. The only problem we've had is the noise, as we are above the bar. Most nights have been absolutely fine, the main problem so far has been Friday night, when the club across the road was very loud, and also Saturday, when Rangers were playing. The manager is a great guy, he gave us tips on where to go, and the cleaner is very nice as well. I've really enjoyed my stay here, and I would strongly recommend it for a budget holiday! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
