mission inn is gorgeous it was by far the nicest place i've stayed all summer but, beware it is in the middle of no where!! it is an hour on the bus from down town and further from fishermans warf. we stayed here because everywhere else was booked out and it done us fine but it probabaly ruined our impression of san fran coz it was so much effort to get around!
