Comments (English): After two weeks of five star hotels with hotel staff with no personality or character, just expensive rooms and food (that arrangement came with the tour I had joined), Eden House was perfect for me! The staff at Eden House (including the taxi driver who took me to Ben Gurion) were amazingly available, friendly, and always helpful; that was so welcome after my first two weeks. I've never really liked big cities and was a little concerned about Tel Aviv; however, the staff at Eden House made being in the unfamiliar, big city quite fun. Although I could have asked more questions about using the buses, walking throughout the Yemenite quarter and lower Tel Aviv, with directions given by Eden House staff, was a great adventure, and they were wonderful with excellent suggestions, such as a visit to the Art Museum of Tel Aviv. Yes, now I miss good, Israeli hummus, the beautiful beach and the Mediterranean Sea, and the many friendly people that I met as I explored Tel Aviv. Sitting on the small back terrace with a cold drink after a day of extensive walking was a nice reward before going out to find a restaurant (the HaKovshim Café recommended by Eyal had delicious food). I have no idea if I shall be able to visit Israel again, but I shall never forget the week spent at Eden House. If I learn anyone is thinking of a visit to Israel, to Tel Aviv, and if they are anyone like me, I shall be recommending Eden House!
